Esteban da Cruz

Esteban da Cruz is a yogi and healer living in Cambridge, MA. He organizes himself around spiritual practice, family, work, and art.

He practices primarily under the guidance of Tom Alden, applying Tom’s Open Mandala wellness methodology. He also studies and practices with Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche and Ethan Nichtern. He has a variety of other influences such as the Yoga of Patañjali, Zen, LaoZi’s Taoism, and contemporary psychology.

In addition to teaching yoga and meditation, Esteban is a mental health clinician working with recovering addicts at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), as well as with individuals suffering from co-occurring substance use and severe mental illness. He is also a research assistant, consultant and group facilitator of Mindfulness-Based Interventions (MBIs) at CHA’s Center for Mindfulness and Compassion and Massachusetts General Hospital.
